What would your life look like if everything you say comes to pass?
God created the world with words. We were made in the image of God and our words have creative power. You can use your words to shape your world. Do not just sit back and allow life to ‘happen’. You are in control! Take authority over situations in your life by the power in the word of God. Declare what you want to see.
Speak the word of God over your life. The word of God has power and when you speak His words, you activate the power of the Word.
When you say what God says, your words become Power Words
You can steer the course of your life with the word of God. You can speak life into every dead situation.
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”
Job 22:28
Declare what you want to see and you will have it. Do not speak weak, loose or careless words.
Feed your heart with the word of God and activate your faith. Be confident in the power of your words by faith. Jesus set a powerful example about the power of words.
Once Jesus saw a fig tree that was in bloom (the presence of lush leaves is usually an indication that there would be fruit under the foliage). He checked the tree for fruit, but there was no fruit on the fig tree. Disappointed, Jesus said to the tree “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.”
The next morning, the tree had completely withered. Jesus’ disciples were impressed that the tree withered and no man would ever eat fruit from it anymore – just like Jesus had said. In response to their excitement, Jesus said:
“Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
Mark 11:22-24
Have faith in God- He is the power behind your words.”
Jesus did not have to check if what He said would happen. He taught His disciples about the potency of words declared in faith. The word of faith can move mountains!
You do not have to beg God to do something for you or repeatedly ask for the same thing every time you pray. Have faith in God that the first time He heard you and you have it.
Does that mean we should stop praying for things even when the situation has not changed and we have not seen the physical manifestation?
No. The bible says “whatsoever you ask when you pray, believe you receive it and you will have it.“ Every time you remember the situation, or are faced with the challenge, all you need to do is praise the Lord that your prayer has been answered and declare the Word of God concerning the situation.
Praise is the bridge between your expectation and your reality.
The secret of Jesus’ success on earth was His total dependence on God. He said only what He heard His Father say and did only what He saw His Father do. “ …whatever I speak, I am saying [exactly] what My Father has told Me to say and in accordance with His instructions” John 12:50
Let the word of God be your guide through life. You can live in absolute victory through living by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.”
Phillipians 4:8
Meditate on the word of God for power words. Your thoughts fuel your words.
