There is so much awareness about leaning in and becoming more engaged in career, and life. We are all encouraged to play an active role and be more involved instead of being passive and watching things happen.
The best leaning you and I can do is to lean on God and trust Him completely with our lives. Faith is described in the Amplified Bible as leaning of your whole personality on God in complete trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness
Leaning on God is the source of power. It takes your focus off the situation and solely on Jesus.
The place of total surrender to God is the place of strength.
The last verse of the hymn “Leaning of the Everlasting Arms” highlights the security in leaning on Jesus:
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.
God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than you could ever ask, think or imagine! He will keep you and bring you to a blessed place.
As you step out in faith, believe God can do the impossible. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Do not rely on your own strength and wisdom, let God carry you.
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
Lean your whole personality on God this week and watch Him show up for you.
With God, nothing shall be impossible!
