You have what it takes!
You are unique and God created you for a specific purpose. You have gifts that are waiting to be discovered and developed. You have treasures in you. Do not be discouraged by the process of discovering the treasures in your life. Determine to be faithful and enjoy the treasure hunt.
Slow down, look around and count your blessings.
Could it be that you are missing the treasures because the packaging does not look exactly like what you expected…?
Dig deeper for the treasure! Do not be discouraged; work your gifting. There is so much potential in you, just waiting to be activated. You are accountable for every treasure God has deposited in your life. Determine to be faithful and watch God multiply your opportunities, talents, and treasures.
“For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”
Mathew 25:29
Gold is not mined in the pure form. It has to go through an extraction process that is loud, hot and painful in order to separate pure gold from the ore.
Do not give up in the middle of your refining process; you will come out shinning as gold.
Keep at it, stay faithful. Do not deny the world of your uniqueness. Let your light shine.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1
What are you doing with what God has given you?
The greatest tragedy of life is to wait till it’s too late. Untapped potential is a disaster.
Do not wait to discover who you could be and what you could do.
Invest in discovering who God made you to be. You are here for a purpose. You are in that specific situation for a purpose. There is a purpose for every relationship in your life. God has great plans for you and His thoughts towards you are perfect. Even when you make mistakes, God can make it work together for your good. He is cheering you on!
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”
Jeremiah 29:11
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”
Romans 8:28
You can only discover who you are by spending quality time with God.
Do not allow the daily pressures of life to deny you of the joy in developing intimacy with God. Be intentional about your relationship with God. Protect your time with Him. Find what works for you and stick with it. It is in knowing God that you get to know who you are. God created you for a unique purpose, and only He can reveal that purpose to you. Let Him introduce ‘you to you.’
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Mathew 5:14-16
As the week comes to an end, let us consciously slow down and search our lives for every unopened box, every untapped potential, and every undeveloped talent. Ask God to open your eyes to see the treasures in your life.
Determine not to waste any treasure that God has placed in you. Go on an internal treasure hunt with the Holy Spirit and become ALL you were created to be.
“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called–his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.” Ephesians 1:18
